New 2012 Medi-Cal Numbers

2012 Medi-Cal Numbers Just Released

 

For 2012:

A married couple is allowed to keep up to $115,640 in Countable Assets if one spouse is applying for long term care Medi-Cal (Medicaid). This is up from $111,560 in 2011.

The at home spouse is allowed a minimum monthly income of $2,841, up from $2,739.

The Medicare Skilled Nursing Facility Coinsurance is $144.50/day  for days 21-100, up from $141.50.
